Description
This original linocut print is inspired by the coastal city of Cartagena in Spain and the feeling of arriving there for the first time. The scene captures a traveler’s perspective: a hand holding a city map, the tourist information building in the foreground, and a cruise ship docked in the harbor behind it.
The design reflects the excitement of exploring a new place and the simple moments that often define travel: looking at a map, finding your way through the city, and taking in the view from the port.
Each artwork is printed by hand using a traditional linocut technique. Because every print is made individually, small variations in ink coverage and texture naturally occur, giving each piece its own character. This makes every print a unique handmade object rather than a digital reproduction.
The design can also be printed in different colors or adapted for textile printing on items such as T-shirts or tote bags. Custom requests and ideas are always welcome.
Perfect as a small piece of wall art, a travel memory, or a thoughtful gift for someone who loves Spain and handmade prints.
